Instead of prolonged burning, many patients experience brief warmth or quick snaps that stop as soon as the pulse ends.

Comfort also depends on technique. Correct wavelength selection, pulse duration, energy, full contact, treatment rhythm and communication all matter. The provider can pause, adjust settings or use a test spot when appropriate. Calling any medical laser “completely painless” would be misleading; describing Triton as designed for a faster, substantially more comfortable experience is supportable.

Laser works best on follicles in the active growth phase, and only a portion of the hair is active at one time. That biology is why every laser platform requires a series. Coarse, dark Brazilian-area hair often provides a strong laser target, and many patients notice slower, patchier regrowth after the first two to three treatments.

2. Skin and hair assessment: skin tone and hair characteristics guide the handpiece and settings. A test spot may be appropriate.
3. Preparation: the area is checked for irritation, lesions or remaining hair above the skin.
4. Laser delivery: the cooled handpiece remains in contact while controlled pulses are delivered in a systematic pattern.
5. Aftercare review: you receive instructions based on the skin response observed that day.

Temporary redness, warmth or small bumps around follicles can occur and usually settle quickly. Blistering, severe pain, marked swelling or significant pigment change is not expected and should be reported to the clinic.

• Shave the agreed treatment area approximately 24 hours before the appointment, following the clinic’s instructions.
• Do not wax, tweeze or use an epilator for two to four weeks beforehand; the follicle must remain present as the laser target.
• Avoid tanning and disclose recent sun exposure or self-tanner.
• Arrive with clean skin, without lotion, oil, fragrance or deodorizing products on the area.
• Report medications that increase photosensitivity, a history of pigment changes, active irritation, infection, open skin, or a herpes outbreak.
• Do not proceed over an unexplained pigmented lesion; it should be medically evaluated and avoided during treatment.

• For 24 to 48 hours, avoid very hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, intense exercise and friction if the skin remains warm or sensitive.
• Wear loose, breathable clothing and use only the soothing products recommended by the provider.
• Do not scrub, wax or tweeze. Treated hairs may shed gradually over the following days.
• Avoid fragranced products and aggressive exfoliants until the skin is calm.
• Follow the clinic’s sun-exposure guidance even though the Brazilian area is usually covered.
