About Lavieen
At Lumini Medical Spa, Lavieen is our 1927 nm thulium fractional laser — the original ‘BB laser’. Its wavelength is absorbed by the skin’s own moisture, so the energy lands precisely in the epidermis and upper dermis (around 0.15–0.3 mm deep), exactly where pigment and texture live, while preserving the protective stratum corneum. Depending on the parameters our physicians set, the same platform works as a gentle non-ablative brightening treatment or a true ablative resurfacing — which is why it handles melasma and sun damage, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, fine lines and acne scarring. Recovery follows a short, predictable rhythm: mild redness on day one, fine micro-crusts by day three, shedding naturally by day five — revealing the polished, luminous glass-skin finish it is famous for.
