When the jaw softens, more filler isn’t always the answer

Sunny Isles lives vertically — Acqualina, the Porsche Design Tower, Jade Signature, Muse — a wall of oceanfront towers on the barrier island just east of Aventura. When a jawline starts to blur, the reflex is often filler, because filler is quick and adds volume where a face looks deflated. But a softening lower face has two different causes that call for different tools. If the issue is lost volume, filler restores it. If the issue is that the deeper tissue supporting the jawline has loosened and drifted, filler addresses a different problem — it replaces lost volume rather than re-tightening tissue that has slackened, so leaning on it alone can round the face without sharpening the line you’re actually chasing.
